Larue edges out Allen for the win at COTA!

As the sun rose on the Circuit of the Americas, Defending Champion Will Larue was able to hold off tough competition to get his first win of the season. After taking the pole and leading the most laps, will battled with Jackson Allen and Eric Drapeau for most of the night. After 30 laps though, Will was able to just stay ahead of Stage winning Jackson Allen for his 4th win in the ITRL. 28 trucks remained running in the morning hours in Texas, while 5 trucks unfortunately couldn’t make it to the finish after a grueling 102 miles. After 5 races now, Its starting to become clear who will be battling for a championship in just a short 9 weeks. Every race winner so far is a former or defending ITRL Champion. John Schweickart leads the hunt in the playoffs so far with 2 wins on the season. We look towards next week at the Monster mile which will be the first time the ITRL Truck series will visit Dover Downs area for 125 laps at the Dual at the Dog 200. Will we see someone else punch their ticket to the playoffs or will a locked in driver increase their points cushion for the playoffs? Tune in to MaxSpeedTV at 9pm est Tuesday October 11th to find out.
