Sawyer Ott steals Charlotte Dirt win after late race charge!

After starting the feature from the 15th position, Sawyer Ott did not appear to be much of a contender the first part of the race, but he avoided the carnage in the later stages of the feature shooting from 9th with 6 laps remaining to take the lead on the last lap! Pulling the cross over move on Roger Diebold in the final turn secured the first victory of the season for the #35 Fort Worth Screen Printing JCOMM Chevy and with the victory his ticket to the playoffs! Holding off Josh Ball and Diebold at the finish, Ott claims his 4th career Premier Series win and 15th overall ITRL win! Sawyer Ott has now finished in the top 5 in all 5 of his ITRL dirt starts. George Balfanz captured his second straight Haulin’ Ass pole award on dirt in the Premier Series and scored the stage 1 win, rookie Cory Deal collected his first career stage win in the second segment! Next week the schedule heads over seas to Twin Ring Motegi in Japan as the regular season only has 5 races left!
