Storm Patterson has punched his ticket to the championship race and joins Josh Culley as next week sees the Elite 8 cutoff race in Nashville! Storm Patterson scored his first Haulin Ass Pole Award of the season and led just 6 laps en route to his 2nd win of the season, 6th Premier win and 14th overall ITRL victory! The victory did not come without controversy though as the 6 of Storm Patterson made contact with 34 of Sean Boundy in the esses sending the defending champion through the grass, with Boundy recovering from that incident to finish second. Josh Ball came home third and swept both stages which puts him at 5 straight stage wins. With Culley and Patterson the only 2 locked in on a win, Boundy and Ball having a huge gap on 5th, 4 drivers are headed Nashville in a must win scenario to keep their championship hopes alive. Roger Diebold, Sawyer Ott, Brandon Pamatat, and Matt Quick have one final chance, Ball and Boundy can control their own destiny with a victory, but if an outsider wins, one of the top two drivers all season could miss the Championship 4. Only two races left as Season 7 of the ITRL Fort Worth Screen Printing Premier Series comes to a close.
