The ITRL hosted its 7th running of the ITRL All-Star race presented by VRX Simulators at the Auto Club Speedway and it did not disappoint. We saw a thrilling finish in the All-Star Open that saw Alex Liddle pick up the win over Corbin Himstreet along with Dan Haff who finished 3rd to round out the three drivers who raced their way into the All-Star race, barely edging out Pondo Coe. The main event was dominated by Himstreet who led a race high 14 laps and ultimately finished third. After a green-white-checkered finish Storm Patterson was able to hold off Alex Liddle and Branden Kloosterhuis coming to the line for his first career ITRL All-Star win! Kloosterhuis finished second with Liddle falling all the way down to 15th after spinning out of the final corner. This was Patterson’s first race with team JCOMM Motorsports new #45 entry after leaving M&M Motorsports. This is also JCOMM’s second straight All-Star win after last season’s I.S.S. win with Ray Ritenour. Ritenour also picked up his 11th career ITRL VRX Premier Series Haulin’ Ass Pole Award, which ties him with Dave Matson for most all-time, he is joined by Season 5 Premier Champion Kevin Hash on the front row for the Talladega 200 presented by Ott Company on February 21st. Next week we have the Wheel Men of Genius Duels from Talladega to set the rest of the starting grid! Thanks to VRX Simulators for sponsoring the series and Ghost Racing Network for broadcasting!
