Patterson put on a clinic Monday night at the Daytona road course in the second race of the Athens Rush Series season, leading 28 of 30 laps after starting from the pole! Patterson marched to a 15 second lead over Sean Boundy by the end and had 36 seconds over Roger Diebold. The win marks the first since joining M&M Motorsports and solidifies the #6 Fort Worth/Reaper Chevy as a playoff contender and a strong championship threat. It’s his second career Rush series win, and 11th overall in the ITRL. Storm Patterson joins Ray Ritenour as the only two drivers locked into the 12 driver playoff with 5 races left in the regular season! Next week we return to the high banks of the Daytona for 200 miles on the oval!
