Culley On Top Of The World Leaving Charlotte!

Josh Culley continues a dominant stretch to open the 8th Season of the ITRL Premier Series as he grabs his first win on the season! The now seven time winner in the Premier Series is all but a lock for the playoffs with the victory. The pilot of the #33 Wilson Farms / CRT Camaro was able to lead a race high 34 laps and win Stage 2 after starting P20 en route to his seventh career Premier Series win and sixteenth overall ITRL win which puts Culley into a tie for All-Time Premier Series wins with Storm Patterson. Sean Boundy had a night that should've led to the win as the former Premier Champ tied the laps led category with 34 and won the first stage of the race after starting P14. Dave Matson had another quiet week on the stat sheet as he comes from nowhere to round out the podium after starting P24. Haulin Ass Pole Award winner Chris Gayle led a race high 8 laps in the beginning of the race en route to an eleventh place finish.

Matt Quick loses his hold on the points lead as he falls to fifth place on the season. Josh Culley leaps to the points lead with the victory by 18 points over Sean Boundy and rookie Corbin Himstreet. Sippin Shine Racing continues their reign at the top of the team standings over M&M Motorsports. There are seven races left in the regular season as we head to St Louis next week for the Ott Company 177 from Gateway Raceway!
