JCOMM Motorsports Storm Patterson captured the win in the empire state to propel himself into the championship race. Patterson led the final 7 laps after getting by Eric Drapeau with a timely move near lap traffic to capture his third win on the season. Drapeau came home 2nd after starting the race in second along with the stage win, he is now well clear of the cutoff next week. Branden Kloosterhuis came home third right behind Eric and Storm as he looks to lock himself into the final 4 next week. JCOMM pushed their team points lead to an impressive 124 points over Sippin Shine after a controversial race by Matt Quick saw the driver get DQ'd post race for failing to adhere to the track layout.
